The milestone event not only celebrated TiE Hyderabad’s legacy but also highlighted its remarkable contributions to the global entrepreneurial ecosystem.

A Gathering of Luminaries

The anniversary celebration attracted a host of distinguished guests from the entrepreneurial and business sectors. His presence underscored the importance of collaboration between government and entrepreneurial initiatives in fostering a thriving ecosystem. Other notable attendees included Madan Padaki, President of TiE Bangalore and Chair of the upcoming TiE Global Summit (TGS) 2024, which is set to take place from December 9th to 11th in Bangalore and December 12th in Mysore.

TiE Hyderabad: A Catalyst for Innovation

For 25 years, TiE Hyderabad has been at the forefront of nurturing entrepreneurial talent in the city, supporting over 6,000 startups. The organization has played a crucial role in refining business models, providing mentorship, and facilitating access to funding. Its initiatives, such as TiE Women, have empowered more than 500 women entrepreneurs, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Furthermore, the TiE Grad program, launched in 2017, has reached over 13,500 students, equipping them with the skills and mindset necessary for successful ventures.

Hyderabad’s emergence as a global startup destination is closely tied to TiE Hyderabad’s efforts. The city’s cosmopolitan culture, world-class infrastructure, and investor-friendly environment have attracted diverse talent and served as a launchpad for ambitious ventures.

Government Support and Strategic Insights

During the anniversary event, Governor Jishnu Dev Varma praised TiE Hyderabad for its dynamic role in promoting startups and entrepreneurship. He highlighted initiatives like T-Hub and We-Hub, which have significantly contributed to the growth of the startup ecosystem in Hyderabad. TiE Hyderabad has also been instrumental in shaping Telangana’s Startup Policy 2024, providing strategic insights that foster an innovation-driven environment.

The establishment of T-Hub, the largest incubator in India, and the Research & Innovation Circle of Hyderabad (RICH) are testaments to TiE Hyderabad’s commitment to collaboration in research and entrepreneurship. Additionally, the formation of Hyderabad Angels, an investment network for early-stage startups, has further solidified the region’s position as a leading hub for innovation.
